People Confront Clintion

This article talks about Hillary Clinton getting confronted by a Black Lives Matter activist on Wednesday night in Washington. In New Hampshire, Hillary Clinton said that "they are not just gangs of kids anymore they are often the kinds of kids that are called super predators." Ashley Williams, a Black Lives Matter activist replied back to that and said "we want you to apologize for mass incarceration and I am not a super predator." Clinton then added that these people are often connected to the big drug cartels. I believe that it was wrong what Hillary said and she should apologize for what she said because you should not speak to anyone that way. Also not all of those kids are apart of the drug cartel. Most of them are good and innocent people. This relates to AP Government because we have been learning about caucuses and campaigns. Since it is an election year we have lots of caucuses so that is why I choses to do this.

Trump accues Cruz for stealing the Iowa Caucus

      This article talked about Donald Trump accusing Ted Cruz for stealing all of the votes at the Iowa Caucus. On Wednesday, Donald Trump said on Twitter that they should have another election or Ted's results should be nullified. After that Trump said that Ted Cruz did not win the election and that all of the polls are wrong. Ted Cruz teased Donald Trump on Twitter for what he said. So now Donald Trump is convinced that Cruz committed fraud and that he also sent out a voter violation certificate to thousands of people.                                                                                      

       My opinion on this article is that Trump was being harsh and mean. I think that Donald Trump said that Ted committed fraud is because he is jealous that Ted Cruz beat him fairly. I believe that Cruz did not "steal" the votes in the Iowa Caucus away from Trump. Donald Trump should not be starting a petty little fight because he didn't win.

       This article relates to AP Government because we have been learning about how caucuses run and what they are. We have also been talking about this candidates and learning their views and what they stand for.                                            

Gun Control

When President Obama visited Virginia at the Town Hall he brought up gun control. President Obama wants to take away the guns of law-abiding Americans. Obama also thinks that guns need to stay out of the hands of the people so they won't harm themselves or other people. He thinks that if average people don't have guns at all it would save families from heartbreak.

I chose this topic because I enjoy hunting. The government should not take away all guns. I believe that you don't need a machine gun at all unless you are in the army. A rifle is important for hunting because it kills accurately and quickly. This gun does not kill rapid fire style. The weapons used in the mass murderers, in the past few years have all been semi automatic. Those should be banned in my opinion. There are guns you could use to hunt and protect yourself, semi automatics are not included. I think they should make the laws more strict, but not band all guns.
